On December 7, 2009, 23-year-old Narges Achikzei was burned alive in Zeist, the Netherlands, by the sister of a friend of her fiancé Haroen Mehraban – exactly one week before her false criminal case against former employer Ralph Geissen and two weeks before her forced Islamic marriage. Infamous, biased officers ruled out honour killing and labelled the murder an act of a “mentally disturbed, jealous love rival”.
