I have mentioned before, jokingly, that the woman may also have been set on fire by the family to heat the house. But now just as seriously: of course it is an Islamic phenomenon to kill women for the honour of the family. Yes, illegal for sure. But in spite of this it is a cultural phenomenon from Islamic quarters.
