Tamina and Jamil come to Germany as asylum seekers and have 3 children. Due to domestic violence, the District Court of Kaiserslautern issues a restraining order against Jamil. However, on 21 July 2016, shortly after midnight, he gets access to his wife's apartment and stabs her.
He also stabs the 24-year-old Amar who is also present. He flees and has to be operated on later. His life is in danger, but he survives. It is unclear whether Amar is a family member or a new partner.
The perpetrator is arrested near the scene of the crime. The children who were in the apartment during the crime go to friends.
In October 2016, a fee will be charged. It concerns an attempted murder of the 24-year-old and dangerous mistreatment of the woman. For this he was sentenced to 11 years imprisonment. The exact names of the participants are unknown so far.
