In spring 2016 Sila and her husband are coming from Syria to Germany. They live with their two children in Rendsburg, Schleswig-Holstein. On 13 April 2018 the father tries to cut off the head of his sleeping wife. The children are in the apartment at the time of the crime.

The 22-year-old can save herself on the street, the perpetrator is arrested. She is seriously injured, goes to hospital and survives. The children come to the Youth Welfare Office. The arrest warrant is for attempted murder.
