Honour killing story

Gezime and her boyfriend
born: 1997
attempted murder: 4 December 2016
Location: Ditzingen / Kornwestheim (Baden-Württemberg)
Origin: Kosovo
Children: none
Perpetrator: her father (46 years)
Many years before the crime, Agim comes from Kosovo with his wife and 3 children to Ditzingen in Baden-Württemberg. At a certain moment they all get the German nationality. At first sight, the family lives an integrated life.

Probably this does not refer to the daughter's will to live her own life. The father supervises her when she moves into her own apartment in Kornwestheim. In the courtroom, the daughter would later speak of stalking.

On December 4, 2016, Agim is again lurking in front of his daughter's apartment. She comes out of the apartment with her 28-year-old boyfriend and gets into his car. The father opens the door and shoots his daughter in the face. He shoots a total of eight times, but she escapes badly injured. Her boyfriend is also shot.

The perpetrator turns himself in to the police. In captivity he is visited by his wife and two sons, which can be seen as a sign of solidarity.

In June 2017, the trial of two attempted murders at the Stuttgart court will begin. According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, Agim wanted to punish his daughter for her immoral lifestyle and the violation of family honour. There is already a ban on approach because of previous attacks. In July, the perpetrator is sentenced to 11 years and 6 months in prison. The judge emphasizes that he does not even have insight or regret. The exact names of those involved are not known.
