For almost 15 years Mustafa T. (40 years) is married to Nicole (35 years). 2004 they separate and they later divorce. Three children were born from the marriage: Naclican, Baresch and Ali (ages 10, 11 and 13), who live with their father. It is said that the mother suffers from a personality disorder, which is why he has custody. It is further said, that it had already come to abuses during the marriage.

Nicole, a trained physician's assistant, marries a 50-year-old computer scientist named Frank in May 2008. This does not fit into her ex-husband's vision.

He was waiting for the two in Berlin-Marienfelde and shot Frank. He shoots the entire magazine empty. It is said: only because he had no bullet left, he could not kill his ex-wife. She goes to the hospital with a bullet in her leg. Then the perpetrator flees, but later turns himself in to the police.

The investigation shows that Mustafa had previously threatened both Nicole and her adoptive parents. According to the prosecutor, the man's purpose in executing him was to satisfy his excessive sense of honor and to demonstrate his unlimited ownership of the woman. For this, he was sentenced to life imprisonment on November 27, 2008.
